is it right for a student to follow a teacher on twitter?
so a couple of girls in my class follow my ap lang teacher and they often talk and retweet eachother. isnt that a little odd?
like for ex one of the girls would tweet something and he would reply/comment Ads |

No, it is frowned upon for an adult teacher to have a social or outside of school relationship until you turn 18

Tweets are public. I would hope that your teacher is being professional, but I see nothing wrong with a teacher with a Twitter account posting things related to the subject matter he/she teaches and having students following. Some schools are advocating this as a way of expanding education outside the classroom and using the new media. Why don't you get a twitter account and follow the teacher? Tweeting is no more private than standing in the middle of the hall at school and shouting something.
