how do you get facebook timeline?

my friend just re-activated her facebook and she's having trouble with figuring out how to get timeline...so either directions or a link would be very helpful!
i already googled it and clicked a bunch of links but they were all confusing

Go to any page that is a timeline, and at the top it will have a green bar asking if you want to download timeline.

I don't know the official date everyone will get timeline, but I will look around for you. I have found multiple reports like his one that say in a few weeks back in january...

This is the official site to get timeline and if it won't let you get it, your facebook is too new, I couldn't get my timeline for my new account until like 3-4 months later

If that site is confusing you could also go to a friends page if they have timeline and at the top it should say something bout getting timeline like "learn more" or something and just click on that
