Company is trying to throw a THIRD department's job on me?
I work for a very large, global company. I started out here two years ago when it was still a small company in Marketing as a graphic artist with no college degree and no prior experience. The small paycheck was paying for a couple of college classes every semester for a degree in Business Management. My boss at the time slowly started transferring her responsibilities onto me while she played on Pinterest and Facebook all day, and when I was finished, she would take all the credit.

Then, we were bought by a much bigger, and better company. The VPs and CEO noticed that my boss practically kept me out of the loop on everything, and shielded me from the rest of the company and said I was "just her assistant". They picked up on the fact she was taking credit for my work, interviewed me, and promoted me within 24 hours to a Sales position. Now, I manage the Sales team as well as sell my product to their clients. I draft the proposal, make my product of corporate documents and presentations thanks to my graphic design background, and then provide a quote and all the information they need, and they execute it. However, I get 2% of the Sales rep's commissions, which is normally averages around 7 to 10 dollars, and did not get a raise.

They fired half of the office and I made the cut. They happened to fire my old Marketing boss, and had me assume her position since I knew the ropes, ON TOP of my current Sales position. Once again, no raise.

When they fired a lot of those people, it left one person in our Ops department. She is now moving, and they are asking me to now manage the Ops department in her place, while managing Sales and Marketing right now, and once again, without a raise.

My days are so busy enough as it is, but after two years working my way up in this company, I feel that I deserve a raise if they are going to make me accept this third job. They are saying that they have no other choice but to put me in charge of the Ops department because I'm "the only one who understands the company and knows what I'm doing". Great and all, but I can't keep doing this while being the lowest paid employee out of the entire company when I'm about to be running three different departments. I work my rear end off. I've also been a full-time college student ever since I got my first paycheck two years ago. I forgot to mention that I'm only 19 years old and almost 20, but surprisingly I'm not the youngest here. So I know age is not a factor in my pay.

Please someone give me some advice on this?

Just tell them what you've said here. And make sure they understand that not only do you deserve a raise, you deserve a considerable raise.

Paying your dues is a bitch, on top of not having a College degree, you are complaining about added responsibility.

I worked 70 hours a week and finished at a top tier University with a degree in Business & graduated with honors. I was not a very bright person and a late bloomer.

BE HAPPY TO HAVE A JOB.
