How do I make a Facebook page for my class reunion?

I want to set up a new Facebook profile page to help us plan our 15 year reunion. I tried creating a new FB account with the school name and class year for the name and it says there are too many words! Any suggestions?
We are in the beginning planning stages so an event isn't what I'm looking for right now. Plus...and I hope this doesn't sound mean...there are some classmates that I don't really want to be FB friends with, but they do need to be included on the reunion info. That was why I was hoping that the "class page" can be friends with everyone from our class, but I don't have to?

instead of doing that why dont you make an event invite on FB with your classmates and just add all of them to the invite

You can make an event, and invite those people to the event
