Help!Someone has phished my facebook account????

I reived a link on my facebook messages from a random person telling me that I should log in e=to my facebook via a link he sent me.I told him prior that I have trouble logging in sometimes and then he sent me this link and it actually looked like the facebook home page (where it asks you to oput your username and password so I entered it and since then I can't log in to my facebook,it keeps saying "wrong password".When I explained this to a friend,the friend said he probarbly phished your account which apparently means that he has taken my username and password and used it to log in to my facebook and then changed the password himself!What can I do about this?Should I report him to the Police?
What would happen to him if the Police found out it was him that did it?

you can report him to the police if you want, but the police dont consider this a serious crime

you made the mistake of falling for the phishing page, which is your own fault

however, if he somehow starts accessing your bank account, that's when you involve the police
