Should I confront my friends about this?

Should I confront my friends about this?
So, i have two friends. One of them, beth, I am extremley close with, and the other, amy, I am just friends with. We generally all hang out together. For the past few months, amy and beth have been continually get into arguements but in the end they always make up. Usually I take beth's side and I feel that I am always the one she comes to when they argue. Also, whenever I just want to hang out with beth, she ALWAYS invites amy, but whenever they plan anything they never invite me. I was under the impression both amy and I were better friends with beth than we were with each other, but also that beth and I were a little closer, because amy has a ton of other best friends and ignores beth sometimes (i would assume beth would get tired of this, but no). So, anyway, it was beth's birthday recently and she invited only amy to a nice birthday dinner. They posted it on facebook and twitter, so thats how I found out about it. I feel really betrayed and ignored that beth didn't even mention the dinner, and that she would invite amy, who certainly has not been a better friend to her. Should confront them about it? (sorry you had to read my story but if you can offer any advice id really appreciate it!!) Thanks! Smile

I think that to bring it up now would make it into a big deal and you would probably be on the losing argument side but if you still feel like this after a week or so you should definitely talk to Beth about it and just see where she stands. She seems like one of those people who will pick someone else over you and if you're best friends thats just not how it should be! so make sure you branch out besides just Beth and Amy. Also if you wanted to let them know how it feels maybe you could just invite Amy to like the mall with you or something or if youre planning on hanging out with Beth, call and tell Amy to come before Beth suggests it or gets the chance, thats just if you want to try to do the whole jealousy thing. I wouldn't suggest it but sometimes it gets the point across. Hopefully that helps. Good luck! :]
