How to take down a photo on someone else's instagram.?

Contact the webmaster of the violation of the Instagram Terms Of Service (TOS) and demand that the embarrassing or negative images of you be deleted.

I guess we can tell that your sister is NOT a friend.

You have to report it to Instagram.

Emabarassing may not be enough to get it taken down. Tell them you are really offended by it.

Alternatively take a shot of your sister and post that - "I'll remove you if you remove me"

If she took the picture (i.e. is the copyright owner) then nothing you can do unless it is libelous in which case you would have to spend a lot of money to sue her.

If the picture does not belong to her then she is not allowed to post publicly a picture for which she does not own the copyright and you can report it or send her a "take down" notice.

I like the answer from BriaR. Your sister sounds like a brat. Get an embarrassing photo of her and post it and don't remove it until she removes yours.
