Guy tweeted something while we were talking about a hangout...(We're both 16 btw)?

To make a long story short, I'm going to some traditional event in my town wherein you have to bring a date and spend the night together and so some traditional stuff...

So I'm going with this guy and who I just met recently and he was asking me if we could meet again sometime so it won't be awkward on the actual night itself.

We're not following each other on twitter but he tweeted something like "what if I accidentally said lets make out instead of let's hang out...awkward shit haha" while he we were talking (his twitter is public so I can see it lol)

What does that mean? Anyone?

It does not mean anything. Since he is going with you, and since he used the opportunity to set up another date with you (good idea on his part), he probably likes you. He is just making a joke related to all the stupid things that get sent in text messages because of autocorrect or people not paying attention.
