On Facebook, what happens if a Facebook Page (that is, a page, not a person) gets tagged in a post?

So, for those who don't know, when you tag a friend in a post by using the "@" symbol followed by the name, as it turns out you can also tag pages that you "like" using the exact same method.

My question is: What does this do? Does it notify the page admin? Does it post it on the page's timeline? Does it do both? Neither? Something else entirely? Or nothing at all?
