i am doing my isp, and i need the labour market influences on an interior designer, but i dont knwo what a labour market influence is.. and if you happen to know any, please tell me ! ( : thanks

labour market: the social economic relationships of buying and selling labour

influences within the labour market:
-too much labour-> unemployment->buyer of labour has more power
-too little labour-> seller of labour has more power

influences of the labour market: on an interior designer:
-interior designers as sellers of labour: their labour will be more valuable and their wages will increase when there are fewer interior designers selling their labour in the labour market
- interior designers as buyers of labour: they will be able to choose from a wider range of possible employees and will probably be able to pay lower wages to those employees

alternatively in the broader economy:
-when unemployment rates in general are high then there will be less demand for 'luxury' items which might well include the work and products of interior designers
-when the broader economy is in a boom, with low general levels of unemployment, people are more likely to invest in housing and thus the demand for interior design workers will be high
