i have a blackberry curve, but i don't have blackberry service cause i don't want to pay 10€ a month and don't have unlimited texts like i do now. i downloaded the facebook app but it doesn't works, and blackberry app world too... does it has anything to do with not having blackberry service?
i download my apps through my laptop

if you want to Use the Blackberry Facebook App you have to have service and you have to have access to the internet so you have to either pay for your internet or you can not use the app at all

App World and apps require data and will not work with wi-fi.
