why do some people on facebook hide their friend list for everyone including their friends on facebook?

I could understand why they would hide it from non friends but to me it seems weird to hide it from their own friends. please help explain this to me it makes no sense to me why people would choose to do this and it would make sense if you wanted a little privacy on Facebook.
probably not they could just be very paranoid about they privacy and 3rd parties leaking info to other companies.

I think if u have to hide ur friends then iits probally because u shouldnt b friends with them. Facebook is all about friends and finding long lost friends thru other friends. If u hide ur friends then y have a facebook?
