If you do not sign into your account for 12 months or more it will be automatically deactivated and deleted.

If you forgot your password click here: https://edit.yahoo.com/forgotroot/ and select "I have a problem with my password"

After you reset your password you can learn how to delete your account here:

Please read carefully and print or save any important messages or contact information before deleting your account. Be sure to update your Facebook, twitter, instagram, online gaming and any other sites that you have registered with this Yahoo ID and also remember to inform your contacts about your change of email address.
