Are the new Facebook Timeline Brand Pages the same as the Timeline Profiles, are there new features?
The brand pages look a bit different with the timeline, are there any new features?

Not exactly, they do of course share the timeline format but there are few differences.

For example pages have the "Pin" (anchor) feature for posts, and you can change the thumbnail picture of the displayed applications, and of course the administration panel.
