Will it be deleted for the person who shared the picture to?

It has no direct answer.

If the person who shared the link only, then his photo will also be deleted.
If the person directly re-post the photo, it will be kept.

no, once someone shares it, it becomes their post (a copy is made of your original post, and a new comment set is created)

deleting your copy of it will have no effect on their copy of it

Almost certainly. I think a few of the social services offer some limited duplication of a referenced material, but most forward a link (either as an actual link or in iframe), which means once you remve the actual content, all links to it will be broken.

You would have to see what the deal is with the service you're using (or your friend is using) to share it, but I am fairly confident you will find this to be the case most times, as it would take a lot of server space to duplicate all those web pages/pictures/videos etc.

Often the best thing t do is to copy it to your own stuff, either on your computer (which you'll have to do anyway, download it to your computer and then upload it to your site) or on your social service site (if they allow you to upload files via a link to the file online, or just by deleting the file on your computer once you've uploaded it to your site, of facebook, or whatever), and share that with a link to the original, that way it will stay there until you delete it.
