Facebook friend question?
Does Facebook recommend as friends someone who has just looked at your profile? I have someone suggested as a friend all the time, but I don't recognise the name and there is no profile picture. I also cannot see who this person is friends with. I am wondering why they are being suggested.
There are lots of people on my "find friends" who have 40+ mutual friends, and more often that not these are people I am familiar with. As far as I can tell, I have no mutual friends with this person. I never see them on my friends' friends lists, and they are recommended as a friend significantly more often than anyone else. I do not think it is someone from my email contacts either, as that is very limited to family members. Ads |

Facebook recommends friends in various ways, geographically, by similar interests, by the work you do, by who that persons friends are, by the school or uni you went to. If there is a combination of these then a person will constantly be suggested to you.

Hmm, are you sure you don't have it hooked up with your email?
I sometimes get random suggestions of people I have emailed once or twice. Anyway, I wouldn't worry mate. |

I believe FB recommends friendship connections between all mutual friends.Make a rule and stick by it. If you don't know the person, don't FR them. And, don't accept their FR either. You will be happier if you can manager your friends you actually know. If you want to FR your friend's friend. Then hang out with them and get to know their friend first.
