Is the Sims Social game app on Facebook free? Is it worth playing?

I was just wondering if the Sims 6 Social game on Facebook is free? I got this app from a friend but have not downloaded it yet and want to make sure it wont ever cost anything if i do. i know some games and apps on Facebook charge (or so I've heard that) so want to make sure.

Also will it slow down my computer severely or take up too much space? my computer is already too slow, I just don't need anymore problems.And any viruses it can cause if I download it??

I just don't get how it can possibly be free especially if this game is being sold in stores or on other online sites where you'd normally have to pay for it...

Sims 6 Social? Never heard of it. I am assuming that was a typo, and you just meant the Sims Social? Anyways, yeah, it's pretty cool, and it's free(Most of it. You can get extras if you pay, but you can play the game without extras). Also, on Facebook, it doesn't download apps right onto your computer, it just makes it so you can play them from the website. And, I'm pretty sure that it's an official Facebook game and from The Sims, so I don't think there would be any viruses.
