Is it possible for two people to be on the same plane of consciousness in dreams?

-My own dreams can be prophetic as often as they are not.
=It was explained to me that Buddhist monks have been known to use Astral traveling methods and the person I am dreaming of (or with) is, in fact, a buddhist.

Nearly 7 years ago, I had two, vivid, recurring dreams two nights in a row about a boy I had never met.
The next day (in reality), I went on a vacation and, before I really knew what was happening, I started walking toward a group of guys. Thats when he turned around--the boy from my dreams. I recognized him immediately. We grew quite close over the next year, though we liver far away. Eventually, we lost touch over the years.

Recently, however, I have been dreaming of him. The dreams are so real, vivid, and tangible. When I wake, I often still feel his touch on my skin. The dreams are in no way sexual, but rather romantic. Every time I awake before we are able to so much as kiss. In most of the dreams, he simply holds me and we talk about how our lives have been since we had last seen each other. So simple, but oh so real.

So what are some possible interpretations? Do you believe it is possible that my prophetic dreaming "ability" is allowing him to "be with me" through Astral traveling? Vice versa? Are these, in fact, prophetic dreams telling me we will cross paths again soon? Or do you think this means nothing at all?

No. Dreams are caused by random brain noise, and have no meaning.

I would say yes. It is possible, though nearly impossible to control. Dreams are very poorly understood, modern science completely ignores them. All throughout the rest of human history, dreams were believed to be of utmost importance. I believe that, in some dreams, you can access powers of the mind that are inaccessible during waking consciousness. So, IMHO, yes.

1. Pray for them.
2. Contact them.

Dreams are warnings from God, as it states in the Bible.

Dream meaning: You dream't of the boy and then you meet him _ prophetic dream.

You are dreaming of him again - perhaps another prophetic dream. It sounds very tender, so you should look him up on facebook or something.

Your questions: Its got nothing to do with astral travelling.
Are these, in fact, prophetic dreams telling me we will cross paths again soon? ..........Bingo !
Or do you think this means nothing at all? Its possible that the events may not transpire at all - you'll have to wait and see, or proactively pursue him.

Consciousness doesn't exist independently or on a plane. In Theravada Buddhism, consciousness is explained as one of the five aggregates: physical aggregate (all physical forms) and mental aggregates (feeling, perception, thought, and consciousness). These five aggregates are interdependent and don't arise without others.

Seeing consciousness as independent and lasting is considered groundless in Buddhism.

The ability of mind (the four aggregates) is wired. I cannot know everything what mind can do. Telepathic contact can occur. There are other factors too such as you knew each others in the past lives and were close etc so you two are drew to each others telepathically.

I wish I knew everything too. It's just a wish.
