I sent someone a friend request on facebook, they accepted it, but I didn't get a notification?

I friend requested someone on Facebook, they accepted it (or at least im guessing because I can see their wall and pictures now, and it doesnt say awaiting confirmation) but i didnt get the usual notification saying "xxxx has accepted your friend request.". It doesnt show the thing on my wall that says "xxxx has become friends with xxxx" with the little pictures, and doesnt show it on their wall either.

Whats up? Was it just a bug? Or did they press the not now option or something?
to answerer no.1: Nah i couldnt see their wall or pictures before hand, i couldnt even see their relationship status and whatnot, so i know they accepted it in some form
oh and the obvious: it doesnt give me the option to request again so i know they didnt deny it

It sounds like they just ignored your friend request. Are you sure you couldn't see their wall/pictures before you sent it?

sometimes before the person excpeted your friend request you can see some of their statuses and things because that happens to me sometimes either that or facebook didnt give you the notification it happens sometimes especially when facebook is making changes like they did with the chat
