I am putting together some helpful content on my blog for the small business owner. This can be anything related to marketing and promotion. I want to get an idea of what you as a business owner want or need to know so I can answer your question. This could be a question about using twitter or how to select a name for your website.

Regarding marketing online:

1.You must know your keywords.
2.Where are the customers coming from?
3.What keyword made the sale?
4.Are there any keywords that are making most of the sales?
5.What is driving the traffic to your site?

The list can go on and on, but any online marketer needs to know those 5 things. Otherwise, you may be sitting on the drivers sit blind folded.
