Should I keep my iPod 4g or buy a iPad 2?
I want a larger device for school work as well as games and social media. Is it worth buying a new £310 device or sticking with my iPod? Whats the good vs bad with the ipad 2?

Definitely worth it. I love using my iPad for my lectures.
I download my slides and follow along during class. I can write on my slides/take notes with a stylus You can also buy a keyboard and type notes during class. I have anatomy apps that help with my classes. I can listen to music while I'm studying my lectures, etc. I always have pandora playing on my iPad. Social media I don't use much, but yea you can do that as well. Get the iPad. Ads |

Only issues: iPad 2 is very old, and as such it's very likely that apple will drop support for it an any moment. Second, apps that are only configured for iPhone (not universal) are pixelized, as the graphics chip isn't as good.
