How do I get the Facebook app on my iPod Touch? Do I need to go to the store or can I get it online?
Also, can I go on Facebook on the iPod Touch without getting the app at all?

You can get the Facebook app from the App Store (it's free). You can also use the mobile version of Facebook by going to Facebook.com in Safari on your iPod.

Yes you use safari and then type in facebook.
The app is easier though. and free

Get on Facebook from your iPod and click download app for iPod it takes about a minute to download.
