How can you keep colleges and employers from seeing your Facebook page?

I've heard that most colleges now google future students, and also search for them on Facebook. I know that, in addition to keeping your profile private, you can disable the search function in the privacy options, but I've also heard that colleges have found loopholes and can find prospective students' pages anyway.

Is there any way to ensure that no one can find my page without disabling it?

Another solution to your problem might be to not put anything on your facebook page that would embarrass you.
