how do i get timeline on facebook?

I know where the "get timeline" button is supposed to be but its not there. how do i get it?
i did go on someone elses page and clicked that it still didnt work

You have to be on the desktop site and go to someone else's timeline. Therell be something on there that says info click here to get a timeline or something like that.

Many users reported that they still don't have the green button to upgrade to Timeline. Some of them tried different browsers and computers but the button still wasn't there.
