Why can't I rename my default folder?
I always have to kill my chrome pages when I try to access my Facebook homepage (I can still get to my profile and apps through my web history). Chrome told me to rename my default folder to backup default; however, it says that other programs are open, even when I don't. Why is this occurring?

Close Chrome.

Goto
C:\Users\[name of your account]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data

Rename file 'user data' to some other name or just delete it.

Start Chrome again.
It would create a new folder with that name, with new, settings. All set to defaults.

It's like restoring the Chrome browser.

Hope that helps.
