Someone used my email to get a facebook account what should I do?

When I logged into my hotmail account I got this email from Facebook that someone sent me a friend request but the thing is I don't have a facebook account. I am very concerned and I do not know who it is, how can I resolve this?

face book is powered by yahoo so they are connected and they want 2 be ur friend

Did you use to have a facebook account?

this might be because you deactivated your account from before and still receive emails from them.

or try resting the password

then deleting the account:

top right corner -> settings, select 'account settings' -> deactivate account.
