Do you think the media is encouraging shootings?
This is an opinion question so please no trolling or rude answers or saying someone is WRONG.

In MY OPINION (remember its JUST an OPINION) I think the media takes some part in the increase of public shootings since the incident at Sandy Hook. I mean I know there always been shootings since before my great grandparents parents were born but, now everywhere you go you see ridiculous amounts of hastags, marathons, wristbands, facebook or other social media post, and pages about shooting including a number of articles and all that nonsense.

Now I know we should prevent this I have no problem with preventing things like this and getting awareness but all the over hype and increase I think is making people who are in need of mental help or just the biggest attention whores the world ever seen to get these ideas like 'hey lets shoot up a public place.'

What do you think?

***Ps: I not sure a question like this has been answer and yes I searched something like this and nothing came up so please no comments like "omg I heard this before" or "look it up" i honestly hate those types of yahoo answers***

Sorry but I want to be detailed with this question

No! They seem to have a bad habit of saying the same things over and over again, until the news becomes the olds.

Media is to be blamed for many 'reoccurring' tragedies. Just as bad is social media. Not so much this kind of format but Facebook, Twitter and such have ruined many lives. People are not LIVING life. The internet should not be a playground. Just watched the movie 'Disconnect'. It was an awesome movie but really made you think about what we are all doing.
