help with signup to instagram on my android?

when ever i try to register to instagram it says " an unknown network error has occurred". my phone is connected to the internet so whats the problem. also i changed my network to gsm only.

if my phone is connected to the internet and my network mode is gsm only then whats the problem

i have a samsung galaxy s vibrant 4g android phone.

Just because your connected to a wireless network does not ensure that the internet connection isn't dry. I believe your internet connection is dry.
