Do you think I would come across as someone with an "Asian obsession"?

In every section of my Facebook I have liked something of Chinese/Japanese origin: a few movies, a TV drama, a book, and a music group. I also listed Mandarin in my interests because I am studying it. Now I I changed my cover photo to an image of Aokigahara forest, and there is a sign written in kanji in the photo. I remember one time I also responded to a post my friend made about other races of women not finding Asian guys attractive. Do you think I went over the top with all of this? I mean, I do have an interest in East Asian cultures, but I still want to seem like a normal person.

Haha you're fine. I'm Japanese and I get the most I guess weirded out when people make their cover photos like anime characters and like all these manga/anime stuff. I actually think the Aokigahara forest is a pretty cool cover photo from my perspective. And you're studying it so it makes sense. As long as it's not mostly Chinese/Japanese stuff you're fine lol I appreciate people who like Japanese culture. It's just annoying when people who are obsessed with just anime and stuff and claim to "know" Japanese culture, but you don't really seem like one of those.

So what was the response when your friend posted something about Asian guys are not attractive to women of other races?

Anyways, did you know majority of AM/WM couples happen to be good looking and attractive so your chances are high that you'll get a good East Asian man.
