Click on the "Settings" button at the top of your facebook page, then click on "Account Settings"
At the bottom there is an option to deactivate your account. Then just choose the reason you are leaving and click the deactivate button. You can also temporarily deactivate it if you plan on coming back again later. |

You go to your settings>deactivate account. You state your reason for deactivating it, though it only temporarily deletes it. You can activate your Facebook account by signing in how you usually sign in.
If you want to permanently cancel your account, you can do so by going down to the VERY bottom of the Facebook page and click on "Help". Just type in keywords "delete account" and they will show you a link to fully deactivate account forever. I hope this helps. |
