How would you classify each of the following Newspaper Headlines (as either an economic issue, Social issue)?
I have eight Newspaper headlines, and I need some help determining whether they deal with an Economic Issue, a Social Issue, or an Environmental Issue:
1. Oxford proposes a leaner alphabet 2. North Dakota to vote on declaring fetus a person 3. Teenage atheism on the rise 4. Meat label law “will kill†production, farmers say 5. Colleges, universities gain in weak job market 6. Auto Collapse ‘Possible’ 7. World ‘very far’ from UN’s malnutrition goal: G8 8. Pakistan a moral threat: Clinton -thanks Ads |

1. social
2. social 3. social 4. economic 5. economic 6. economic 7. social/environmental (more social) 8. not really either, but probably more social. For number 5 that could be a social or economic story depending upon the focus of the story, in terms of if the economy is affecting students or if it is affecting the financial statuses of universities. |
