Facebook new profile layout question?

Hi there.

Recently, I have had a bit of an issue with my facebook profile. When I am on the homepage, I would like to be able to go straight to my wall, but when I click on the 'profile' button, it takes me to the interests and about me section, not my wall. Which results in me having to click the 'wall' button under my profile picture, which I did not have to do with the old layout. I have recently joined facebook, so could this have something to do with it? I hope someone can help as this is starting to get on my nerves. Thank you
