What kind of jobs are there in marketing?

How much does a marketing analysist make?

Is it hard to become a brand manager?

Whats a typical salary?

And most of all, what's the outlook for stability? Are there a lot of jobs available? Will I always be worrying about downsizing?


Any info on the major would be appreciated. I really like the idea of marketing and I'm great at math and very social but I'm still not sure what I want to become. And other career ideas?
Oh yeah, how hard is it to break into the field/get a salary at $60k+?

To see how much marketing analysts, database managers/analysts, brand managers, etc. make, check out the Bureau of Labor Statistics, http://www.bls.gov. Jobs in Marketing have been on the rise and are forecasted to continually pay well for years to come. Unfortunately in America, there is no such thing as stability anymore. It depends on economic conditions and the financial stability of the company.
