We're best friends only on Facebook?
I've met this guy a couple of years ago when we started high school. I knew him just from school, I saw him there and decided to add him on Facebook and soon he chatted me and we started talking. Ever since then, we've been chatting on and off throughout whole high school about all sorts of random things and realized how much we had in common. It's been nearly four years since we've met and we have only talked once in our entire lives for about ten seconds at school. Ever since last summer, when he broke up with his girlfriend, we've been talking almost on a daily basis, for hours. Do you think this relationship is weird? Should we try to hang out in real life as well?

After that length of time with just corresponding, you two should know each other fairly well. That's one amazing length of time to be keeping in touch with each other!! Must have "shared" a LOT with each other over the yrs. I'm honestly surprised you haven't gotten together by now. I see no reason why to not give it a try in hanging out in person. To me, it's well worth giving it a try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!! Give it a try, I wish you good luck!^

I'd say he isn't interested because if you are in the same school and he hasn't suggested getting together even just for coffee as friends then he really is not interested and you are really not best friends. You have a penpal and that's it. Try living a real life with real people who want to be seen with you.

Yeah, try and hang out in real life. Facebook friends make for awkward social situations in real life. I have a few "friends" like that. If you want to pursue a real friendship, suggest that you guys hang out in real life.
