How can I edit my Facebook privacy settings so that only my friends can message me?
I want to edit my Facebook privacy setting so that only, and I mean ONLY, people I have already added as friends can message me, no stranger, no friends of friends, only people I have specifically added.

This, however, seem impossible, and I'm left stunned at the lack of privacy Facebook has given people.

So far all I can do is go to Privacy Shortcuts - Who can contact me - Strict Filtering

....the only problem being that strict filtering describes itself as...

'MOSTLY just friends — you may miss messages from other people you know'

Well, I don't want to 'mostly' receive messages from friends, I want to only receive messages from friends, surely Facebook wouldn't not allow people to do this basic thing concerning their privacy? Is there no way I can accomplish only allowing friends, and no one else, to message me?

Go to your timeline (profile)
On the top right of the page there would be an option named privacy shortcuts.
Click it
then > who can contact me
then > select strict filtering .
nd u r done..
