Need to know if Sims 3 games require internet connection?

I just bought a new computer & I'm about to buy all of the available Sims 3 games- expansion packs & stuff packs. I need to know if any of the games require an Internet connection to install them or to play them. I do not have an Internet connection for the computer so I don't want to buy any games I won't be able to install or play. Thanks!

only if you wanna update it, other than that it can be played offline

No, you do not need the internet to play the game. You only need the internet for downloading the game, worlds, expansion packs (if needed), stuff packs I (if needed), store content for the sims 3 store, to post to facebook (if connected and optional), to post to your sims 3 account (if connected and optional) download updates, and send your sims to other people game.

Since you do not have internet, you will need to download the updates where you get internet access and install them at home. Create an origin account while you are at place that offers internet access and down the origin app while you are there.

Since you plan to get them all. There are total of 22 worlds, expansion packs, and stuff packs.

Get the following. It will save you money

1) The Starter Pack -The base game, late night, and high loft is included.
2) The Expansion Pack Bundle - World Adventures and Generations are in this bundle
3) The Worlds Bundle - Hidden Springs and Monta Vista

P.S. Register these games. You need to do it when get to the internet such as a public library or McDonald's. Do so at http://www.thesims3.com , a free world Riverview, and other bonus content and digital copies of your games. The Digital copies is a good thing if you should ever loose your disc and are ever stolen, the games will be linked to you.

Also to get showtime, I recommend origin or amazon. Places like game stop, walmart no longer sale show time.
