if someone tried to sign in to your account from a different computer, when you first sign on facebook will tell you what country they were from and suggest that you change your password.
if that doesn't come up when you first sign in, and there's some posts on your facebook wall that you are absolutely positive that you didn't post, i would change your password anyway.
if that doesn't work, maybe you should try contacting facebook or creating a new account.

By default, I'm not sure if there is a good way for you to tell unless your friends tell you that you've been posting/sending spam from your account. However, Facebook does have an option to turn on Login Notifications, which will alert you anytime you log onto Facebook. Check the Security options in your Account Settings.

In any case, you should change your password right away, as well as any other services that use the same password.
