How do I take text off a picture?
Hey. I want to be a slightly active PC gamer, and I need a facebook, I set it up and bam I'm done. I'm missing one thing in it, a cover. I want one (this that I made http://imgur.com/WwyBWU4) but... I don't want the text on it? How do I take it off free? (no photoshop here) can you help me or take it off yourself? Thank you.

Use paint that comes with windows. Right click the image (after saving on your desktop or something) and select "Edit" and it should open in Paint.
Select the select tool and an surround an area above the words the length of them then copy it (CTRL&C) then paste several times to (CTRL&V) overlay on the writing whilst keeping the shading correct. That or just select the image, copy as before and paste as a new image removing the words (which will be more "square" anyway for a profile pic) Steam might get steamed up so i didn't tell you this |

You can't take it off, if the text has already been saved on the picture.
