Can you redirect a bought website url to a myspace or facebook page?

I was thinking there might be problems since myspace and facebook both are login type websites. Is it possible? I have a band url that I want to just redirect to a myspace page but can't find the ip address for the myspace.com/bandname website.

There are ways to do redirects in php and html. Many domain name registrars also provide redirects if you want to redirect everything from your domain website to a page elsewhere. You should not need the ip address. You can do the redirect to another website page by name. Just make it a complete url that begins with http:// or https://
