Facebook is acting funny?

I recently reactivated my account on Facebook and it's being really weird. All of my groups are back and I can access and post in them, however, not all of my friends posts are showing up. Not even the one I was tagged in is showing on my news feed. It's showing on my timeline and on theirs, but not in my news feed. It's also showing up on friends news feeds. I have put all of my friends in Lists and selected all updates to show, but still it won't do it. I have no 'Show in News Feed' option any more either, so I can't do that. All answers around the internet are about 4/5 years old and Facebook has changed so much sine they were given. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated because it's really annoying me.
