Is facebook the new consuming market?
Is it possible that in the near future we could buy products on facebook. F.e. iphone's, shoes, clothing...
If that would exist, would you use it? But more specific, would you trust that kind of activities. For example: apple starts a collaboration with facebook to sell iphone's on their website. Would you risk it to buy it on Facebook while you're browsing through the site?

While Facebook's main revenue source are paid ads promoting products and many businesses have Fan Pages promoting their products, I doubt you would see a shift toward Facebook becoming more of an ecommerce site, while there could be short term gains, it eventually would alienate their user base just looking to have fun, resulting in a massive loss of users.

Dear Lan
First of all, I want to tell you important a point regarding your query is that recently business is more advanced and well organized to move into products into everywhere. Each business focuses into different concepts and methods to popularize their own product without looking the location, risk and cost.

However each and every firm wants to improve their business and capability through different well known adds source or social sites. Facebook is the NO: 1 social web site available in the world. So we can say that it would be better consuming market. Moreover if it have better secure in their transitions, it would be the best consuming market in the world and it’s the better way to educate people about products and their usage value. So it would be the better path to bring products into the market.
