Facebook quizzes are never accurate because it said I'm Ribery...

Sponsors about cleaning teeth always appear on this site. I like the betting sites that sponsor teams like Bolton and West Ham.

Hm, I didn't think that "Anderson" and "75% good" would ever be in the same sentence, but if Facebook said it, then who am I to argue? ☺

I'm fine thanks LLG (despite United's loss at the weekend). Haven't been on here in a while but see that the usual faces are lurking...

I've not seen the "sponsor a donkey" adverts, but you have me intrigued about them. I've recently upgraded to Freeview so now have more nonsensical channels to flick through until I find it. But find it I will. It can't be as bad as this Kevin Keegan advert though - true, he's delivering an important message, but the abysmal jacket and bouffant don't help his cause at all:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JE8Lk2kSCDo

As for sponsorship... almost all of them are appropriate really, given the state of our current society (which is a bad thing) - of the 20 teams, 19 of them are sponsored by money-making corporations, 7 of which are related to gambling, 3 to insurance/finance, 2 to electronics, 2 to breweries, 2 to airlines, 1 to a fuel supplier, 1 to a paint company, and 1 to a job site.

To make it worse, the PL itself is sponsored by Barclays - a financial company - which just highlights that football nowadays is more of a business than a sport.

Aston Villa are the only team to go against the norm - instead of having corporate sponsorship, they actually do the sponsoring instead, by having "Acorns Children's Hospice" on their shirts. If only the other clubs would do the same...
