facebook: can people see when I view their profile?

before I knew that all those apps that said they could let you see who is viewing your profile is a scam. But lately more and more have been coming, and I'm afraid that they might actually work. If so, doesn't that violate the facebook privacy agreement? What's the point of facebook if you can't stalk all your friends/acquaintances/ gorgeous guys you never met....

i think there are some people you actually have the app working on facebook, but i wouldn't even care if i were you. I agree.
what's the point in the website if you can't look at your friends pics and stuff?

Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles. Facebook applications, on the other hand, are unable to track anybody unless they have the consent of the viewer.
