Notifications on facebook?

Ok so on my iphone i have the facebook application and when i have a notification it basically sends me a text message and i can go see. sometimes when i get a notification on my cellphone i dont get it on my computer. other times i will get the notification and not see it on my phone or computer. what do i need to do to change this is there a way to change settings

It is probably because you are still logged in on Facebook on your Iphone while your on the computer. Log off one (either your Iphone or computer Facebook) and next time stay on one at a time.
