Can people still find me if I change my twitter username?

I want to change my username on twitter because my sister figured out my fan account but I don't know if she can still find me like by tweets? Or indirects?

If she followed you or has a link to your profile, then she'll still be able to find you. If you change your username/display name she won't be able to determine weather it's you or not.

if you can attach a profile photo than your sister can identify you and by contacting you by any means and clear her confusion.
