Questions from an amateur photographer?
So I just photograph from my phone nothing special but I was tghinking of entering a contest just for fun. Out of these pictures which doy out hink is best? I took photography classes in high school but that's it don't know much about photography. I was thinking the black and white one on the pier is best? If you could critique and tell mew hich one you like or give me tips that would be great.

Also: I'm most definitely going to enter the black and white Pier and they say I should title it, any ideas what I should call it? Something generic like La Jolla Pier (lol) or something "artsy"? Thank you:

The pier shot IS the best one, because it's in black and white and hasn't been overprocessed to death and back. The others have really strange colour, although you do show some sense of compositional sense in some of those pictures, in particular with leading lines.

If you stopped using stupid effects and filters and concentrated more on composition and light, I think you could take some pretty fine shots.

As for titling your pictures, the title doesn't matter as much as the quality of the picture. Unless you can think up a witty title on the spot, then just call it "Pier" or "(placename) Pier".
