My yahoo email is not receiving twitter emails?

So for my twitter account of 4 years it has always gotten mails through my email but my twitter account beam hacked i did the "forgot your password well send you an email to reset it link" and I have not been getting the email. Ive tried doing it on my phone, iPad, laptop but it wont send. It saids " a link has been sent to your email but it hasn't come. and im still logged in in my ipad but if i logout i am screwed. I have twitter emails from a month ago but not anymore? Why is my account not receiving emails from twitter?! everything else gets to my inbox except that it still gets mail except from twitter!!
