HELP. Facebook group targeting my girlfriend: What do I do?
ok so there is this group some girl made at my school and my girlfriend is 7 1/2 months pregnant and there are dozens of comments from people calling her all sorts of names and the person who made it wrote in the info that she should "go kill herself and her ugly baby" and that my daughter will "be fucked up" because my girlfriend does all these drugs. THAT IS NOT TRUE... and I have reported it twice and had friends do the same but nothing is happening and I really don't want my girlfriend to see it. Do I call the police??? I have no idea what to do... I told my mom and she doesn't know anything but she wants to call the police... should I call the police or is there a number for facebook or should I call the police anyway..... I want this girl to get in trouble....
We spend every waking moment together she does NOT do any drugs... she's a GOOD girl I don't know what these peoples problems are im so pissed.... =\

call the police. No one should have to go through that. The police WILL deal with this girl becuase it is cyber bullying which is illegal. but if your GF does take drugs, then she might get in trouble toosince the police get to go through her whole account and if they find anything drug related , she will be in shit.

You can call the police on that and report the group to facebook. What they are doing is cyber bullying which is illegal. If they find out who made it and who's in on it, that person could be charged with a huge fine an d even jail

Welcome to social networking. There are risks...
I don't think local police would be able to do anything about it. Cyber-bullying isn't usually considered a civil concern.
If anything I would tell teachers and your principal. They usually have more impact on student's lives than the police.
If you can get on your lady's account without her knowing you could always block the page from her account and she'd never be the wiser.

I'm sorry. It's sad how cruel people can be. I'll be praying for you. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you wind up the father of a beautiful, healthy baby. Its a new life, and know matter someone's past or mistakes, a new life is one the most beautiful things in the world.

Definitely call the police and report it on facebook. You sound like you really love this girl and want to keep her safe. The best thing to do is to report it to authorities. Then, when she does find out, because it's certain that she will eventually, make sure that you're 100% there for her, reminding her of how she's NOT the girl they're describing, and that you love her like nothing else in the world. If her stress level is raised to high it could affect the health of the baby, as well as her own.
Also, kindly and quietly ditch your friends if they're saying that stuff....they're not your friends if they're participating in that crud.
