What ever happened to Y! Answers?
Where did all the people go?
Studentroom, facebook, twitter aren't exactly substitutes. Plus they're all dying out too. What's your theory? (That is if anyone is actually reading this........) Ads |

Since the big change some months ago it seems that many have rather quit rather than adapting to the changes.

The novelty has worn off, that's all. Nowadays, folks are always looking for something new. When something new comes along, everyone gets involved with it. Most are involved with the new thing only until the next "something new" comes along. Then you see who's a fad-follower and who's a dedicated user.
All the social media is becoming old hat now, so fewer people are involved. That's all it is. |

what happened is prob the unpopular format change from green to purple, and all the glitches.
== "Yahoo's design chief, Tim Parsey, left Y in May, '13, shortly after his widely criticized redesign of Flickr was released." "Yahoo's Chief Operating Officer, Mr H. de Castro, was fired by Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, Jan 15, '14, after 15 mos on the job. "He's seen as failing to deliver on the company's turn-around efforts." "Ms Mayer is Y's 7th CEO is less than 5 yrs." |
