Tow facebook accounts need to combine them into one account only?

I somehow have ended up with two facebook accounts, how do I get them into one or deactivate one?

As far as I know you cannot join or combine two facebook accounts. To deactivate one go to account settings then click on security and the bottom it says deactivate your account. Click on that and give a reason why then type password in and you are done. Unless you wanted to delete one account instead of deactivate If you don't think you'll use Facebook again, you can request to have your account permanently deleted. Please keep in mind that you won't be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you've added. Before you do this, you may want to download a copy of your info from Facebook. Then, if you'd like your account permanently deleted with no option for recovery, you have to fill out a form.
